A German customer has contracted Celadonsoft to develop a mobile app for a hospital that will digitize hospital treatment. Initially, the plan was to try running such an application in one of the hospitals in Germany. If the application fits into the flow and improves the clinical experience, then this hospital app was intended to be rolled out to other hospitals in the country.

Challenges Faced During Hospital App Development
The main challenge was the customer's failure to be in continuous communication due to their busy schedule. As we practice being in touch throughout all of our projects, autonomous work was quite a leaving the comfort zone. Therefore, we were given the freedom to act and make decisions.

We were also faced with the complexity of the hospital app design. With the admin panel, to be more exact. Due to the client's busy schedule, we were not always able to call him to coordinate many points regarding hospital app development services. We had to think through the behavior of the admin panel by ourselves.
As for the code, the application was not super complex for our developers to deliver a patient daily care planner app, so classic development approaches were used. Everything was done in time. The customer was happy with the result as the main part of hospital mobile app development services was over.
It is also worth noting that during the testing phase, not a single bug was found. We didn't believe it at first! So we did some additional testing, which also did not reveal any bugs. So, this app is quite a thing for our hospital app development company to be proud of.

Medical Mobile App Design
As we mentioned, the customer reached out to us with a Figma sketch. Our designer took the existing design, made changes and corrections to it, fine-tuned it, and made it usable for further work. We re-drawn the existing sketch in Figma, finalized the requirements, and wrote the user story. The design turned out to be straightforward and user-friendly.
Like any other medical application, the app has to be accessible. Our hospital app development company took it into account while creating the design.
We developed a high-contrast black-and-white layout for visually impaired people.
We also used special color palettes that passed accessibility tests for people with various types of color blindness.
