Task from the Client
A large North American travel agency has been commissioned by the Municipality to create a smart website-guide for tourists planning a visit to North America’s cities. This resource should help people based on their interests to choose the route, plan the vacation, places, and events to visit. And with this task they came to us.

Challenges We Faced With
Because of the need to create the most flexible filters and algorithms to match events, attractions, and just popular places based on each user’s preferences, we decided to create a chat based on artificial intelligence, which will be connected to a closed database of all points of interest in North America, and based on the data entered by the user, decides the right places to visit.
Also, we needed to solve the performance problem, so the site with its massive functionality would run on most devices. Our customers already had some backend parts for the site and full UX/UI design. So we had to built and optimized multiple reusable components and pages, improving efficiency, maintainability, and overall performance. Also, we had to configured and optimized media assets, including images and videos, to ensure fast loading speeds and responsive design.
Functions We Implemented
Inspiration for Tourists
We built a model in which the answers can be customized to fit our needs. The model immediately has a setup that it is an assistant on the site for tourists, and it can give links to other pages of the site, whether they are appropriate by dates of events or according to the interests of the user tourist attractions and other points of interest.

Trip Planing
An AI-developed concierge can build the most convenient routes in order to get to the right point or to move within the city between points of interest. Also, the system provides advice regarding the weather on specified dates or places with free Wi-Fi.
Explore the Events and Places
If a tourist already knows where he wants to go, but wants to know more details, the system can show the most interesting details about events and attractions, as well as provide feedback from various users in recent times.
Features of Technologies We’ve Implemented
CMS
We decided to use the Sanity Studio platform for flexible, content-driven page management, allowing for dynamic updates.
AI GPT
For our AI Concierge, we implemented the Official JavaScript / TypeScript library for the OpenAI API and the newest models of GPT-4o.
UX/UI
During the front-end development, we implemented smooth animations and engaging UI interactions using Framer Motion, along with CSS transitions and parallax effects for an immersive experience.
Google Maps API
Enabling users to explore locations visually with interactive mapping features, we integrated Google Maps API.
SEO
To enhance discoverability, we implemented SEO best practices, including structured data, meta tags, and performance optimizations.
