Task from the Client
The Canadian customer came to us with a request for local online platform for selling various components of the wardrobe directly from Asian manufacturers. All they had before the development had started was a primary, incomplete design of the website. So we had to create a whole marketplace from the scratch within the limited budget and narrow time frame.
Challenges We Faced With
As the initial reference product, together with the client, we defined the world-wide famous service Shopify as a benchmark.

Different Sides of One Web
For proper distribution of access according to the user’s role we divided the web service into 3 parts: web panel for admins, website for vendors, and basic web page for users.
This distribution helps to control the large amount of data on all types of users and goods, as well as avoid problems with payments.
Popular Payment Services Integration
To make it easier for us to make secure payments and accelerate development, we have decided to integrate ready-made, well-tried solutions such as PayPal and Stripe into our marketplace.

One of our main advantages is the unique integration with local Asian postal services to simplify the continuous process of delivering goods over long distances.

Because shipping from the Asian region to North America is a long and complex process, depending on many factors, ranging from the weight of the product to the specifics of the wearable materials.

Admin
Large separate panel for service management — management of all accounts in the system, history of orders of all users and sellers, payouts from the system to manufacturers, access to all seller’s statistics.
Vendor
Separate panel for Asian manufacturers-sellers – receiving orders for shipment of goods and withdrawing money from the service.
User
Access to all basic functions of the marketplace — catalog, wishlist, shopping cart, orders history, possibility of order and delivery processing, tracking of order status on the way to the customer, and possibility of goods return.
